The World Record of ‘longest sitar playing marathon’ has been achieved by Ms. Renuka Punwani (76 years) from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

During November 26-27, 2011; at the Pancham Academy of Indian Music, the longest sitar playing marathon lasted for 25 hours.
