The World Record of ‘first to climb Mount Everest’ has been jointly achieved by Edmund Hillary (New Zealand) and Tenzing Norgay (Nepal).

On May 29, 1953; Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay made the historic first ascent of the highest mountain on earth, Mt Everest. Duo touched the summit of Mount Everest for the first time.
