The World Record of ‘most people dressed as mahatma gandhi’ has been achieved by Veer Chhatrapati Shivaji English Medium School Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India.

In an event organized on October 07, 2012; One Thousand Ninety Nine (1099) students of class I to XII from Veer Chhatrapati Shivaji English Medium School, Raipur dressed as M. K. Gandhi.

The World Record of Most People Dressed as Mahatma Gandhi was achieved by Training Resource and Care for Kids (T.R.A.C.K.S),from Kolkata, West Bengal, India. 485 underprivileged children dressed in matching skin-coloured caps, round spectacles, gray mustaches, dhoti and shawl, as well as holding walking sticks walked in a peace march.
