The World Record “largest mass wedding ceremony for differently abled persons” has been achieved by DATC and District Administration from Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh, India.
On Feb 20, 2020; Three Thousand Three Hundred Fifty Three (3353) couples got married in the multi-faith mass wedding ceremony organized under Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah, Nikah evam Divyang Vivah Protsahan Yojana.
Previous World Records:
The World Record of ‘largest mass wedding ceremony of differently abled persons’ was jointly achieved by the Collector and District Administration from Betul, Madhya Pradesh, India. On Mar 19, 2017; One Hundred Fourteen (114) differently abled couples got married in a programme organized by the district administration. Mr. Shashank Mishr, District Collector, convened the World Record.
