The World Record of ‘most people sweeping simultaneously’ has been achieved by the Ujjain Municipal Corporation from Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, India.

On May 20, 2016; Five Thousand Five Hundred Ninety Five (5595) people swept the road simultaneously during Simhastha at Ujjain.
