The World Record “first to perform ear piercing at anatomically identified concha point associated with vagus nerve” has been achieved by Dr. Rakesh Prakash Nigam from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.

On Dec 25, 1990; Dr. Nigam organised a camp to perform ear piercing at the anatomically identified concha point associated with the vagus nerve for patients suffering from bronchial asthma and diseases related to the vital organs of the thorax and abdomen.
