The World Record “youngest elected sarpanch” has been achieved by Preeti Yadu from Basani, Chhattisgarh, India.

On Feb 19, 2025; Ms. Yadu won the Panchayati Raj elections for village administration conducted by Chhattisgarh State Election Commission and became elected Sarpanch at the age of Twenty Two years Two months Twenty Two days (22Y:02M:22D).
