The World Record “most basil plants bestowed as return gift in wedding” has been achieved by Maheshbhai Vallabhbhai Savani of P. P. Savani Group from Surat, Gujarat, India.

During Dec 14 – 15, 2024; Mr. Savani has bestowed Forty Two Thousand Seven Hundred Forty Six (42746) holy basil plants as return gift during mass wedding ceremony ‘Piyariyu‘ organized for marriage of 111 foster daughters of Mr. Savani.
