The World Record “most five wicket hauls in ODI cricket world cup matches” has been achieved by Mohammed Shami from India.

Till Nov 15, 2023; Mohammed Shami picked Four (04) five wicket hauls in ODI Cricket World Cup matches. In the ICC World Cup 2023 edition, Shami picked three fifers Two against New Zealand and one against Sri Lanka. Shami’s first ODI world cup fifer had came during the 2019 World Cup against England.
