The World Record of ‘largest mass wedding ceremony (multiple locations)’ has been achieved by Women & Child Development Department, Chhattisgarh from Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India.

On Feb 27, 2021; Three Thousand Two Hundred Twenty Nine (3229) couples got married in programmes organized under ‘Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana’ at multiple locations of Chhattisgarh state.

 Ms. Anila Bhediya (Minister of Child & Woman Welfare, Chhattisgarh) convened the program.
